It’s the last day of 2010 and I think I’ll be spending the last few hours of a wonderful year for me just resting and being with my family, not that I never was. They say that whoever you are with when the clock strikes 12 on New Year’s Eve, you will be spending a lot of time with that person for the whole year. So I’m glad I’ll be with my family again because I think this growing old thing has kept me a lot of time from spending it with my family.
2010 is probably the best year for me yet, not because it was full of all happy things, but because it made me more adaptable to changes, which I was not really good at. I’m thankful that this year I was able to graduate high school, travel, party, say temporary goodbye’s to best friends and say permanent hello’s to new ones, laugh and cry, and see, discover, learn, and experience all kinds of beautiful things that some may even come just once in a lifetime.
I wish everyone another roller coaster year of health, happiness, a little bit of suffering, and love. Another 365 days to grow spiritually and emotionally (and even physically)! May the last day of 2010 end with a big bang (even if you don’t have fireworks!) to welcome 2011.
Happy New Year! xx
